We occasionally receive feedback from customers who complain that the surface of the EcoPro mat is not sufficiently resistant to abrasion and shows signs of use. The surface of the mat can be damaged by abrasion and impact, e.g. longer rubbing marks from dragging the heels or toes over the mat or minor damage from an impact, sharp nails or objects. These are not manufacturing or material defects. Keep the yoga mat out of direct sunlight.
I first used this mat in a yoga studio and liked it so much that I specifically looked for and bought the same one for myself. The grip is honestly the best I’ve ever experienced on a yoga mat – it feels stable, secure, and really supportive during practice.
There is a noticeable smell at the beginning, but it is not so strong that it bothers me too much, and I assume it will fade over time.
Compared to other mats I own, it is a bit heavier. I deliberately chose the 4 mm version as a good compromise between lightness and comfort. For poses or exercises that put more pressure on the knees, I simply add a bit of extra padding. Overall, I’m very happy with the mat and would definitely recommend it.

i love this mat, it has an excellent grip and soft touch at the same time. bonus, it’s not very heavy, as natural rubber mats usually are, and it has a lovely colour. as a minus, it has the specific rubbber smell which is not very plesant, but it’s not very strong and it goes away quickly.
